Prune is another one of those great New American joints springing up in the Lower East Side. Located at the nexus of the universe (1st and 1st) chef/owner Gabrielle Hamilton heartfelt entrees provide a warm fuzzy feeling for all those lucky enough to nab a table. The restaurant is so small you might that only a prune could fit into a table. In the end Prune conjures up thoughts and memories of dining in a casual private kitchen.
